“For me, the love of art is first and foremost a story of transmission. It goes back to my grandfather, from whom I inherited this attentive gaze, this way of observing, feeling, and giving form to the world.”

Although his name suggests otherwise, these are not the words of an Italian artist, but of Leonardo Pisano from the South of France. He grew up between several cultures, shaped by the diversity of languages, landscapes, and sensibilities. The coastline of the Alpes-Maritimes introduced him very early to light and color, through artists such as Matisse, Léger, and Klein.

Graduated as an engineer, his path connects art, engineering, and philosophy, three different languages united by the same search for balance between thought and emotion. In his work, Leonardo explores this tension between idea and matter, between structure and gesture, between clarity and doubt.

Each artwork thus becomes a space of dialogue between memory and the present, a place where reflection meets sensitivity. More than a simple object, it seeks to offer a living experience: a shared breath between the canvas and the one who looks at it.

BREAST — A Chromatic Journey

These stained monochromes invite the viewer to move through an abstract chronology inspired by breast cancer. Each work opens a colored world where logic and narrative fade, giving way to your own perception. This fictional territory acts as a mirror of our society, of our emotions, of what we choose to see within it.

With BREAST, art extends beyond the exhibition space to engage with medical research and innovation. For each artwork acquired, a donation will be made to Think Pink Belgium, providing concrete support in the fight against breast cancer.
