A beautiful collection of real drawing art will be seen at TABLOO for the first time, with the pencil drawings of Sharmi Gnanasekaran (°1990, India). Allthough software engineer by profession, since her childhood Sharmi dreamed of becoming a pencil artist. “A pencil and a dream can take you anywhere”, she always said. She taught herself in drawing and developed her skills in shape, light, shadow and perspective to end up with portraits. She loves the beauty of the shades of grey which express the feeling and soul of the picture. She uses graphite and charcoal pencils to bring out the reality in portrait. She also does color pencil works.
